JCI Lipa attended the 2015 JCI Asia Pacific Conference (ASPAC) held at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from June 11-14. Headed by LO President Maria Aysa Manalo, there were 5 participants who represented the Local Organization in the said convention. Along with President Manalo were Immediate Past President Melvin Dimaculangan, Executive Vice President Jose Paolo Katigbak, Treasurer Cayo Katigbak and Local Training Director Gerald Deuda.

The 2015 JCI ASPAC was officially opened on the evening of June 11, in the presence of YB Baliok Haj Taufiq Bin Datuk Seri Panglina, Minister of Youth ad Sports who represented the Chief Master of Sabah at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Likas Sports Complex.

The ASPAC conference was laden with activities and events that members could attend and participate in. JCI Lipa attended the JCI Morning Show, which is a staple at all Area Conferences and World Congresses. They also participated in different skills development sessions like the JCI Leadership training facilitated by WTC Kenneth Kabique. They were also present during the general assembly wherein JCI National Organizations formally expressed their views, voted on issues, and discussed matters relevant to the organization. Likewise, JCI Lipa’s very own Cayo Katigbak represented JCI Philippines during public speaking Championship.

JCI Lipa joined the rest of JCI Philippines delegates in various conference events and activities. JCIP had more than 100 participants to the conference. During the awards ceremony, JCI Philippines won 4 awards at the 2015 JCI ASPAC. Most Outstanding New Local Organization – JCI Imus Wagayway, Most Outstanding Local Organization – JCI Manila, Most Outstanding Business Development Project – JCI Manila, and Most Outstanding National Flagship Program – Project 101!
