JCI Lipa has concluded the active phase of OPLAN BARACO, raising an impressive total of P181,982.21 and gathering essential in-kind donations to support communities impacted by Typhoon Kristine. Our utmost thanks go to all our sponsors and donors.
Our initial relief efforts have reached the barangays of Halang, Bugtong, Sico, Inosluban, Pangao, and Marawoy in Lipa City, as well as the barangays of Mataas na Bayan and Tubigan in Lemery, delivering vital aid where it’s needed most. Cash donations were also given to the Bicol Region through the 2025 Area Vice President of Area 3, AVP Emerson Paul Zaño.
Beyond material support, JCI Lipa will also conduct psychological first aid training in selected communities.
While the donation drive has ended for Typhoon Kristine, our mission continues. The remaining collected funds will be used in the coming weeks to assist affected communities. All donations and relief operations are carried out in close collaboration with community members, local government units, and organizations to ensure that assistance is both targeted and effective.
As we prepare for Typhoon Pepito, let’s continue to hope and pray for everyone’s safety. Please stay updated with the latest news and information. JCI Lipa, through Oplan Baraco, is committed to supporting those affected and in need.
